Austin, TX Newborn Photographer~ Vera 14 days

This session was really special to me. Last year, when I was super pregnant with my third child I got a last minute inquiry for a newborn session. Anna and Massie’s little boy was born a month early and they needed a session. Anna opted for the babies first year package, which means I saw the 3 of them ever couple months to document a new stage in little Gunnar’s life. So as soon as Anna announced she was expecting baby 2 and it was a girl she let me know. Finally, little Vera arrived and I was just as excited to photograph her first newborn session. The only difference being Massie, Anna, Gunnar are moving to VA in August and I won’t be able to document Vera’s first year like I did for her brother. I get emotionally attached to my loyal repeat clients and when they leave I get really sad. Watching little ones grow up on Facebook just isn’t the same as photographing them yourself. I spend several hours looking at these little ones faces. Not just through my viewfinder on my camera but afterwards on my computer screen editing their galleries. I will miss this little family but I know the move will be great for them. With 2 under 2 Anna and Massie will love to have family around for Gunnar and Vera to grow up with.
